Spy + Engineer from Team Fortress 2. Two great tastes that taste great fighting each other on the battlefield for dear life. This is just the flat colouring. I will be adding the shading at a later date.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Its really nicely done, what type of shading style will you do?
Ideally I'll go at it with Painter for the sake of the better brushes and pressure sensitivity. I just have to find my disc and reinstall it first.
Alternatively I'll try something subtle and a bit blocky to match the background if the first technique doesn't work.
